From Humble Beginnings
Reck farms was established in 1962, when a young man and his childhood sweetheart brought their first farm (Crikey's Farm). Desmond Reck, realised as a young man that the family farm at Mulgowie wouldn't be big enough too raise the next generations. So at the young age of 14, he started his horticultural career digging potatoes and cutting onions.
In sixty one, Valarie and Desmond purchased what is known as Crikey's farm. They raised their family in the farm shed. It wasn't until sixity-six, that Val got a house.
This farm was the first of many that have been purchased, to make Reck Farms what it today.
